So Table is the result of an experimental approach using a new 3D concrete printing technology called Selective Paste Intrusion (SPI). The aim was to create a structure that is spatially rigid yet visually lightweight, taking full advantage of the unique possibilities offered by this method compared to standard robotic concrete extrusion.
The base is inspired by natural structures - from plant lattices to trabecular bone. As it rises, it branches into finer and finer elements that support a tempered glass tabletop. The form is fully parametric and can be easily adapted to different sizes and formats.
