The facade concept for the Smíchov City project utilizes UHPFRC and on-site robotic fabrication.
The project includes the production of over 40,000 m² of facade cladding, featuring approximately 4,000 unique facade elements. The use of So Concrete technology enabled efficient execution of complex shapes while reducing material consumption by two-thirds compared to conventional methods. On-site fabrication also aimed to cut CO₂ emissions by half and significantly reduce the time heavy crane equipment was required on-site.
The solution was demonstrated through a visual mock-up of a complete facade element, which was presented to the client.
